The park and municipal museum (20 metres), the neo-gothic Cathedral of Arucas (200 metres), the Montaña de Arucas viewpoint (600 metres), the Jardines de la Marquesa (Marchioness Gardens) and the Hesperides tropical garden (900 metres), and the beaches and natural pools of El Puertillo at Bañaderos (5 km) are some of the unmissable sights close at hand in the surrounding area.
